This Round Tool Gripper is manufactured in various sizes and is mainly used in conjunction with our Baff Shear and/or Dismantling Press for the handling of the dies or the tool rings. Naturally it is also possible to ergonomically manoeuvre a complete tool set with a weight of up to 700kg in all directions.
For larger and thus heavier tool grippers, the horizontal movements of the overhead-crane are facilitated by electric drives. The control of these drives are integrated on the operating panel of our gripper.
It is also possible to pre-assemble your complete tool set using this universal gripper.
Our new generation of grippers (since 2024) no longer require compressed air and are therefore pleasantly quiet. We have also significantly increased all speeds/movements - making the gripper much more efficient for the operators.
The three axle crane can be controlled by using the REISCH Tool Gripper control system. Diameters for example of up to 600mm and tool heights of up to 350mm are possible and more.
This tool-gripper with a net-weight of around 460kg was specially developed for the tools of a 55MN extrusion press (Thöni Industriebetriebe in Tirol). These tool-sets have a diameter of up to 700mm and a height/length of up to 350mm.
