For the preparation of aluminium-logs, REISCH offers customized solutions such as log storage, log saws or log shears as well as many different kinds of billet loaders. We also carry out the interlinking of new as well as existing systems in our characteristic professional and efficient manner. Upon request we can also function as general contractor for your projects – for example if your log- or bolt-heating need to be modernized additionally.

8” Log Handling
The log ramp and handling feed were fitted in front of the hall in order to completely remove the stacking operation from the production hall.
Billet Loader with three axle manipulator
The development history of this billet loader further underlines the high flexibility of our company: Through the tight confirmed deadline, it was possible that REISCH could win the contract and the highly demanding project was indeed completed within the deadline.

Aluminium Log Shear 8”
The newly designed log-shear with a cutting force of 170 tons divides 8 meter long aluminium logs playfully into the desired billets.
Log storage
The shown aluminium log storage has a capacity of 100, 8” logs with a length of 7 meters. In addition cut logs with a rest length of up to 1.2 meters can be automatically returned and stored.

7“ Log-(Rod-)Shear for SAPA Nenzing
This quite fast working hot-shear allows a very late shearing (more time for heat up). Of course also this – preferred vertical – design is equipped with divided shearing- and clamping shells.
