Single Puller for massive 60 MN-Extrusion Press

HYDRO Aluminium Hungary – a renowned supplier for premium automobile manufacturers worldwide, has once more chosen us as their partner. We were commissioned to produce a highly modern Single Puller with Saw for a 60 MN extrusion press.

For many years, HYDRO has been extending its further processing of their partly high-alloy aluminum profiles. In order to meet the demand for even bigger and more rigid profiles, the company has invested in this new extrusion press line. With us as a partner, this massive extrusion system has now been completed and has started operating successfully.

Impressive characteristics:

• Max. profile dimension: 550 (600) mm x 275 (300) mm with up to 30 kg/m
• Puller and saw’s pulling power up to 10kN (so far up to 5kN) propulsion system (rope)
• Saw & Puller: approx. 300Nm (so far up to 100Nm)
• Single Puller: net weight approx.. 2 tons; max. speed 4m/sec
• Saw Puller: net weight approx. 3 tons; max. speed 2m/sec
• Saw Blade Drive approx. 26kW (so far up to 11kW)
